How Bulkmail works?

Complete Guide

Follow these steps:

Install BulkMail

Install BulkMailClick Here

Important: Go to sheet in which you want to use this add-on and press refresh form (Add-ons menu > BulkMail> Refresh)

Step 1: 

Prepare Template/draft. 

There are 3 ways to do this:

In this step design (HTML) code of your draft/template will be save in "BulkMail-data" sheet. 

Step 2:

Select Design Code (HTML) or row number of the design (which saved in 1st step) which you want to use as for sending email.

Step 3 (optional):

Send Test Email and check

Step 4 (optional):

Check Track Open If you want to track open emails.

Step 5 (recommended):

Manage unsubscribe. Skip sending emails to person who unsubscribe you.

Step 6:

Press Run to start sending


Step-1 Install BulkMail 

Do Refresh After Installation

Step-2 PREPARE Template

Create a draft template in Gmail or write HTML in sheet or Use design of Received email. Use {variable name} in the message body and subject for variable fields.

How to prepare drat in Gmail ?

Add Variables in {} Ex. {variable} (Which you want to change in each email according to data which you entered in sheet)

Write {Image} where you want to place Variable Image. The IDs of these image you have entered in sheet. It is useful when you want to send different image to each email ID.

To add Image in Draft press 'insert image' which is at bottom of the draft. Don't use "attach file". If you want  to send some thing in attachment then add it into sheet not here. Click Here to see How to send attachment?

Tips

Let's look at in detail.....

You can Rename the column which header has  Blue Background. These are variable columns. Set Header name same as variable name which you typed in Draft. To add more variable Insert New Column.

1. ImageID: 

Google Drive Id of Image which you want to add at where you wrote {Image} in prepared draft (in Step-1). the text {Image} will be replaced before sending email with this Image with resizing according to data in ImageWidth and ImageHeight. Only one Image Id allowed in one cell.

2. ImageWidth: 

Width of above Image. Leave it blank if you want to send email with same size. Ex. for 100pixel width enter only "100".

3. ImageHeight: 

Height of above Image. Leave it blank if you want to send email with same size. Ex. for 100pixel width enter only "100".

Note: If value in ImageWidth column is empty and ImageHeight column is not empty then Image Height will be set according to entered height. Width will be according to aspect ration

If value in ImageHeight column is empty and ImageWidth column is not empty then Image Height will be set according to entered width.  Height will be according to aspect ration.

4. Sender Name:

This name will be shown in receiver's Inbox.


5.TO: 

Email Id of person to whom you want to sent mail. In case of multiple email address for one line then join them with ,  Ex. abc@gmail.com,xyz@gmail.com

6. CC: 

Email Id of CC. In case of multiple email address for one line, join them with ,  Ex. abc@gmail.com,xyz@gmail.com

7. BCC: 

Email Id of BCC. In case of multiple email address for one line, join them with ,  Ex. abc@gmail.com,xyz@gmail.com

8. REPLY TO: 

Email Id in which you want to receive the reply of email which to send. In case of multiple email address for one line, join them with ,  Ex. abc@gmail.com,xyz@gmail.com 


9. Attachment ID: 

Add Google drive Id of file which you want to attach with the mail.  In case of multiple attachment  join them with * .

10. Schedule Date: 

Date on which you want to send particular email. Leave blank to send instant when pressing run or in next auto mailing cycle (If you configure this sheet with advance options).

3. Fixed Header  [ Edit Header name  | Edit/Add Data in Column ]

The columns which header font are white and having red background are fixed columns. Don't rename header and don't add data in that column. The required data will be updated in respective columns automatically.
